Midsummer

Tonight it'll be Midsummer's Eve, followed by Midsummer's Day. My big sister is here with her two kitties and she made tasty lunch, cake and waffles for us. It's nice to have her here sometimes. I could "celebrate" my Midsummer's Eve by reading the William Shakespeare play "A Midsummer Night's Dream", but I don't feel like reading it. I've read it before---not the original one, it was somewhat simplified rewritten version of it---and it's not the best one I've read, but not the worst either. What's really sad is that we didn't decorate and risen any May Poles this year like we usually do for tradition. Oh well, we had a nice time here with good food. :-3

I've made a non-alcoholic Summer strawberry punch for this occasion.
It's easy to do!
=D

Here's what you need:
500g strawberries (frozen or fresh)
1,5l Sprite, 7Up or Mountain Dew
1l Undiluted strawberry juice
1 lemon
1 or 2 lime
And plenty of lumps of ice

Here's what you do:
Pick out a big glass bowl (or any big bowl). Pour 3/4 of the lemonade, then all of the strawberry juice and all of the strawberries. Cut some slices of the lemon and lime and add in the punch. Lastly, you'll fill half of the bowl (or full if you want to) with lumps of ice. Taste it. If you think it needs some more lemonade, then empty the bottle into the punch. Done! Enjoy the Summer strawberry punch! ;)
(P.S. If you do want to lace the punch with alcohol you may add vodka, for example.)

I hope you'll have a very nice and happy Midsummer!
^_^
Take care! Ha det! <3
