23 years

I have now lived through 23 years of life, and what have I become? Well, it depends on who I'm asking, of course. But for my opinion... I'm kind of complicated, sometimes I don't understand myself and my thoughts.

My Birthday was different from what I'm used to. This time I was feeling so lonely (now, don't you dare start singing that song). I was all alone in the house. My parents were at work and my brother was at school. My day didn't start so well. Even though I got wonderful congratulations and virtual gifts on Facebook and at DeviantART from my dear friends, it didn't change the fact I was alone. Celebrating it all by myself in the house without any cakes or presents is rather sad...
Yes, I know there ARE people who has it worse than me, but let's see it from a perspective of a protectful family---meaning I was being raised in a protected environment with lots of support partly because of my slight difficulities due to my Asperger syndrome and Aphasia. (Now I feel we're getting slightly distracted.)
Anyway, my point being: It was a nervous and rather depressing change of Birthday, since I'm still not really accepting me actually being a grown-up. Sometimes it fears me.

So, my Birthday was like a normal day. Lazy. Artblock. Chores. Dishes. Food I should cook for myself only, but I didn't have the energy or mood for it, so I had a breakfast instead. The sun was shining. I went outside on the back of the house and lied down in a folding armchair and staarted drawing something.
It turned into a sketch. After 20 minutes in the warm sun (but a bit chilly wind) I decided to scan the sketch some other day and color it on Photoshop. I went inside again.

Grandmother called me and wishing me on my Birthday. Later in the afternoon my Mom called me. My saviour. After a while of talking on the phone she invited me for lunch over at her apartment - she had come home early from work on this day. Soon I was at her apartment and had a great meal and a very nice discussion about my future and various things.
Like Dad, she didn't have a present for me for the moment. But perhaps later, someday.
After some while I left her apartment to walk home in time before Dad came home from work.

That concludes my day. It ended well after all, and I thank my Mom for that for being there for me... and thank goodness she ended her shift sooner. ;D No matter what Dad may be thinking about her, she's still my Mom that I love. She helps me only when I really ask for it. Maybe she can't help me all the time, but at least she tries her best. She gives me more support and positive thinking than Dad gives me. That's what I like about her. ^_^

When Dad came home from work later we both went to the shop to buy some supplies. I'm going to make some yummy sandwiches tomorrow, which I'm going to post here in my Blog how to make them step-by-step. ;) (Request from a dear friend of mine.)
Until next time!

Take care, ha det! <3
