Recipe for tuna & egg sandwich

As requested, here's a recipe of how you make a tuna & egg sandwich á la Char. ;)
This is inspired from my workplace that has similar ways to make them.

Click on the photos to see them resized.

What you need:
Graham bread (or any bread you like, but it has to be whole! Don't buy the bread that has already been cut through!)
Iceberg lettuce (or any kind of lettuce)
Cucumber
Capsicum
A packet of cheese
A packet of ham (can be replaced with turkey or cold-smoked salmon, if you're vegetarian you can use something else of your own choice)
Dill (optional)

For the filling (for about 10 breads):
2-3 boiled eggs (more is fine if you want to eat them afterwards)
1 small can of tuna fish

This recipe is a little tasty meal for up to ten people. If you plan to serve the double amount of people, I recommend you to increase the batch of 2-3 eggs to 4-5 eggs and 2 cans of tuna fish.

Start by boiling the eggs in a saucepan. When they're done, spill the warm water into the sink and fill the saucepan with cold water. It cools down rather quickly.
Meanwhile you'll add tuna fish into a small bowl and crush the biggest pieces with a fork. Then you add two boiled eggs (after they've cooled down) into the bowl and you crush and stir them with the fork. Put an additional egg if needed.

Next step is important to remember: Add water into the bowl, but not too much! You should have just a little bit of water, enough to make the contents a litte bit sticky but not loose. Stir a little more with the fork.

Then you start cutting the bread halfway and fill it with a layer of the tuna & egg mix.

Next is your own choice in which order you'll add the vegetables, the ham and the cheese. I usually put in the following order: iceberg lettuce, one slice of ham, two slices of cucumber, a half slice of cheese and one or two small slices of capsicum. (That is, if the second one fits in there without breaking the "back" of the bread.)
I didn't have any dill, but if you have, then add some dill on the top. It doesn't only taste good, it also looks good. ;D
Remember to always wash the vegetables!

And you're done! ;) Serve it and I hope it will please your taste like it did to me and my friend Rebecka!

Para-pa-paa~ I'm lovin' it!
(What? It does look like a healthy hamburger. ;D)

P.S. Sometimes it may be leftovers of the tuna & egg mix. You may eat it up as it is or save it for another batch. I only had five graham breads this time so there were some of the mix left in the bottom of the bowl. So we ate it up. =D

Take care! Ha det! <3
